I have 20 more days 'til I must drag myself back to that facility where they teach things. I'm quite devastated and on the brink of attempting to stop time so I can do absolutely nothing (perhaps I might walk around the world if I could) for about twenty years before returning to reality.
...That'd actually be awesome, walking around the world while time has stopped... Seriously though, I wish I could do that. These last two years of high school are "the years that are really going to count". I love how teachers just want to scare the crap out of you so you'll work hard.
In this day and age, you're never too old to learn or go back to University and such, so I guess I'm not too worried about messing up my final big exam in year 12.
Still though, the teachers at my school (certain teachers, anyway) seem to get a kick out of scaring you shitless.
Around the end of last year, the head of my Maths department came into my class and ranted on and on about how you really need Maths C and you shouldn't listen to the booklets they hand out from Universities. He said that in University they teach Maths C, but they basically attempt to cram a whole two years of learning into a semester, stuff people should've learnt in high school, resulting in heaps of people failing their exams and having to take the course again, meaning more money wasted.
Well, I'm not sure if that really scares you, but that seriously scared me. University is freaking expensive!
So, because of that coma-inducing speech, I took Maths C, and you have to take Maths B in order to get into Maths C. Basically, I'm taking two motherfucking Maths classes this year and possible next
I've always hated Maths, but I've always gotten by with mostly B's and on the rare occasion, an A. This year, I can't stuff around... I'm attempting to get a job in dentistry.
Yes, dentistry sounds extremely boring. I think it's relatively amusing though, I always hated the dentist when I was younger. If I'm good enough, I'll be apart of a league of fear-inducing professionals who scare people by just their name: DENTIST.
Plus I get to shove (well, gently put) things in people's mouths, inject their gums, use tools that make awesome sounds and such... Hehehe...
As sadistic as I sound, my passion is actually art (wow, quick change of mood). I've always wanted to either be an animator, or a manga artist, or even a storyboard concept artist or just a concept artist for a game company. I'm too much of a wuss to chase my dreams, though.
However, I am hoping to be a part-time tattooist while working as a dentist, since it'll help my hand-eye coordination for being a dentist.
Although, if I don't qualify to get a course in dentistry, I guess I'll attempt to chase my dreams.
Even though I don't even have any followers, if anybody ever reads this post, I've got to ask: Have you ever given up your dreams? Or did you start chasing it after you realized you wanted to follow your passion?
Okay, that's a whole lot of cheesiness right there, but still, it'd be interesting to know. Even if it takes ages for someone to reply.
